DIRECTIONS TO ROCK MOUNTAIN SPORTING CLAYS
Going I-81
South
Take Kirkwood (Conklin) Exit off I-81. At the end of exit ramp, turn right (sign says "to Route 7").
Cross 2 bridges. At traffic light, turn left onto Route 7 South. Go 1 1/2 miles to blinker light. Turn right, onto Route 7
South to PA State Line. Route 7 South becomes Route 29. Continue on Route 29 South through Montrose (turning left at traffic
light in center of town). Go 12 miles to Springville intersection at the bottome of a hill. Turn right (West) at the Citgo
Gas Station. Go 1/4 mile to Stop sign. Bear left at this "Y" onto State Road 3006. Go. approx. 2.5 miles from the
"Y" to Mitchell Road (the second dirt road to the left) and turn left onto Mitchell (look for directional arrow
signs). Go 1/4 mile to entrance on left.
Going I-81 NORTH
Take Clarks Summit exit off I-81. Follow
Routes 6 and 11 West past Keystone Junior College in Factoryville. When Routes 6 & 11 split ( past the Bluebird Diner),
bear right on Route 6 to Tunkhannock. At the traffic light, turn right on Route 29 North. Go 12 miles to Springville. Turn
left (West) at the intersection in Springville at the Citgo Gas Station. Go. 1/4 mile to Stop sign. Bear left at this "Y"
and go approx. 2.5 miles to Mitchell Road (second dirt road on the left (look for directional arrow signs). Go 1/4 mile to
entrance on left.
FROM WILKES-BARRE
Take Route 309 North to Route 29 North. Follow Route 29 through
Tunkhannock. Go 12 miles North to Springville and turn left at the Citgo Gas Station. Go. 1/4 mile to Stop sign. Bear left
at this "Y" and go approx. 2.5 miles to Mitchell Road (second dirt road on the left (look for directional arrow
signs). Go 1/4 mile to entrance on left.
FROM TOWANDA
Take Route 220 to Route 6 East. Go East
through Wyalusing and Laceyville to Meshoppen. Approximately 1 mile past the blinker light in Meshoppen, turn left onto Kaiserville
Road (Sign: "Kaiserville 3 miles"). Turn left onto the first paved road, Farr Road. Farr Road turns to dirt. Bear
right at the "Y". Go straight through the next intersection (locally called a "4 corners"). Take the first
dirt road to the left (Mitchell Road). Go to top of the hill to our entrance. (Note: this may be hard with cart in tow. If
you want, continue on Route 6 to Business 6 in Tunkhannock, turn North on Route 29, and go 12 miles to Springville. Turn left
at Citgo, go to stop sign. Bear left, go 2.5 miles to second dirt road. Turn left, go 1/4 mile to entrance.)
FROM
ALLENTOWN
Take Northeast Extension of Turnpike to Route 115, Bear Creek Exit. Turn left onto Route 115, and follow
to bottom of hill, approx. 4-5 miles. Take 309 North bypass to 29 North. Follow Route 29 through Tunkhannock. Go 12 miles
North to Springville and turn left at the Citgo Gas Station. Go 1/4 mile to Stop sign. Bear left at this "Y" and
go approx. 2.5 miles to Mitchell Road (look for directional arrow signs). Go 1/4 mile to entrance on left.
